Scanning the High Point Market Furniture Preview Guide I ran into this beauty by Bellini Modern Living and WOW – This is not your dad’s recliner!

Naturally I went looking for more and found their website

And Twitter

Furniture design and what people come up with can keep me captivated for days. I am so impressed with how this doesn’t look like every other recliner. I like the look and style of the low back sofa and yet a recliner with full back support. It’s the best of both worlds – Stylish and functional. Modern and classic. Awesome.

High Point Market Spring 2017 is fast approaching and soon social media will be filled with incredible and eye-catching designs of the latest in home furnishings.

Just recently Studio M held a TweetChat Product Preview and some of the pieces were jaw-dropping. However, there was a group that instantly became my absolute favorite!

These pieces by John Strauss and Carisa Marie from CMJS Creative at Strauss Furniture are outstanding. It is precisely the reason High Point Market keeps me coming back for more. The design and colors on these pieces are mesmerizing and I cannot keep myself from continuing to stare at them. Aren’t they amazing?

Crossing my fingers for CMJS Creative and hoping these pieces receive the credit they deserve because this collection is definitely worthy!

I didn’t think I would have children. When I decided that I would, I prepared my lifestyle and finances, got pregnant and had a baby. Just like that. It has been the best decision I have ever made in my life. However, for some, it’s not that easy.

I recently had the privilege of sitting in on a tweet chat for the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation (Cade Foundation). This wonderful, non-profit organization helps families overcome struggles with infertility. The Cade Foundation offers information and support and connects families who have already overcome their infertility battle with families who are still coping with the challenges this condition presents. In addition to connecting families, the Cade Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of grants to help families with the cost of adoption and fertility treatments as well as hosting hundreds of outreach events.

The Cade Foundation holds events throughout the year such as Pathways to Parenthood, which is a handful of symposiums in various states to include many experts. This year, there is a big event – Race for the Family, presented by Shady Grove Infertility, a 5K Run/Walk with a 1 mile Family Fun Run, a playground for kids with fun activities of face painting, arts & crafts, games and a musician and lots more other family events. This foundation is doing such incredible work and it is inspiring to know these foundations are out there!

I have watched someone struggle with infertility from afar and it is heartbreaking to me because I know this woman would be an AMAZING mother. So I wanted to share the Cade Foundation in her honor and hope that maybe at least ONE person, if at least, connects and gets help.
