The other day while at the supermarket I treated myself to a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice coffee. So YUMMY! However, doling out five bucks for a coffee every morning is simply NOT in my budget. So when I saw this I jumped on it –
GROSS!!
Not at all a comparison to Starbucks pumpkin spice. A huge disappointment because I found myself daydreaming about that pumpkin spice coffee, but there was no way I was going to fork out another FIVE bucks for a cup of coffee. Not to mention that each cup holds 13 grams of fat – YEP – 13 GRAMS.
Enter the good ole’ Internet and into the search engine I typed – “How do I make Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee” and there it was – all sorts of recipes telling me how to quench this new screaming addiction. So… through a few trials of a little of this and a little of that, I found the following compromise –
Ingredients:
2 cups of regular coffee
1/4 c fat-free french vanilla
1/4 c regular french vanilla
1 Tbsp Libby’s Pumpkin (not pictured)
1 tsp regular sugar
1 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp of pumpkin spice
Mix everything but the coffee, in a separate cup and heat up in the microwave for a minute and a half – combine hot coffee and hot cream mixture and Enjoy!
You’re gonna love it!
