After getting a new leaf on my orchid – not a flower just a leaf – I have suddenly become brave enough to try and nurture this ficus tree back to it’s previous luster. I found it on the curb – because there is no way I’m going to actually buy one only to bring it home and kill it. I have been there and done that. So there it was waiting to be dumped fading away in a cracked plastic planter. I brought it home, picked up some Miracle Grow Potting Soil, a ceramic pot with saucer, replanted it and waited…

THEN this started to happen…

and suddenly…

I’m starting to think that just maybe I can do this.
