The green in this chair jumped out at me while cruising the web as this was a trending color at Fall 2012 High Point Market. Then, when what to my wandering eyes would appear – a trunk as the crux of this ingenious seating.

This of course made the wheels in my mind start turning and ticking so off I went searching for the creator of this interesting seating.

Katie Thompson is a designer from South Africa. She uses discarded pieces to make furniture, lighting, and interior accessories. These designs are unique, one-of-a-kind, and truly vintage.
