I am always on the lookout for different and unusual design. I like to understand the artist’s thought process, inspiration, vision, etc. When I came across these it was intriguing to say the least – a chair made out of mushrooms – it can’t be. Then I clicked on the link and found it most certainly was a chair made from mushroom. Better even this article shows the process in how they make their pieces out of mushroom. Absolutely Fascinating!

The Lego House

In August 2009, James May, currently known for co-presenter on Top Gear built a full-sized house out of Legos at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey, UK. Legoland was to move it to their theme park, but plans for this fell through in September 2009 due to costs for deconstruction, shipping and rebuilding being too high. There was a Facebook appeal to save the Lego House, unfortunately it didn’t work out and the house was demolished on September 22, with the plastic bricks planned to be donated to charity.
Even the toothpaste and toothbrush are Legos!

I would love to get my hands on this table by – Zaha Haddid, Architect – I feel as if I would need to inspect every square inch of this table because it has my head playing tricks on me. It’s just cool!
Totally digging how the glass creates the illusion of rippling water on the floor underneath the table!
